Gérald Gould of Sept-Iles, Quebec passed away Thursday, May 28, 2012 at the age of 88. Born on November 28, 1923 in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Israël Gould and the late Sophie Richard.
 Gérald was employed with Q.N.S. & L Railroad since 1953 until his retirement in 1982. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was active in the Royal Canadian Legion. As hobbies, he enjoyed hunting and gardening.
He will be missed by his wife of 66 years, Rita (Richard); his five children, Paul (Suzanne Hackey), Charles (Susan Goguen), Janet (Don Calhoun), Joseph (Cindy Fawcett) and Donald, 13 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Aurore LeBlanc, Jeannine LeBlanc and Freda (Frank) Cormier and by two brothers, Richard and Ulysse (Marie-Paul) and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister Amelia and by five brothers Roger, Normand, Amédée, Arthur and Hector.
Interment was held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes cemetery in Memramcook East.
